McCaskey confirms Chicago Bears name if stadium moves to Indiana

Chicago Bears chairman George McCaskey stated that the team would retain the "Chicago Bears" name if they were to build a new stadium in Hammond, Indiana. Emphasizing their focus on the Indiana location, McCaskey noted that dropping the Chicago name would be disrespectful to their fanbase. He referenced similar situations with the New York Jets and Giants, who retained their names after relocating to New Jersey. The future of the Bears’ potential move remains uncertain, and community responses could influence their decision.
