McDaniels secures additional $40 million in contract extension with Wolves

McDaniels has secured an additional $40 million guaranteed for a further season with the Minnesota Timberwolves. This extension gives him four years and $124 million in total on his contract. The deal allows for flexibility, enabling him to negotiate another extension as soon as 2028, potentially starting at 140% of his new salary, or opt for free agency in 2030 after completing 10 years in the NBA.
