McLaren celebrates 1000th F1 race with gathering of stars in Monaco

McLaren commemorated its 1000th Formula 1 World Championship race in Monaco this weekend. The celebration included current and former McLaren drivers, such as Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Lewis Hamilton, and Emerson Fittipaldi. A notable highlight was Mika Hakkinen taking the M2B, Bruce McLaren's 1966 car, for a demonstration lap. The event emphasized the rich history of the team alongside a showcase of the MCL40, which features special livery for the milestone.
