McLaren removes its H-wing design for the Spanish Grand Prix

McLaren will not use its H-wing aerodynamic concept during the Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid this weekend. The team developed its own version of the rotating rear wing, which moves 180 degrees between Corner Mode and Straight Mode, after observing Ferrari test the design during the winter. Following further work, the team has opted to bench the component for this event. The hardware is expected to return to the car for the upcoming race in Baku. This decision marks a temporary pause in the testing and implementation of the rotating rear wing system for the Woking-based team.
