McLaren reports electrical issue causes Norris' stoppage during FP2 in Monaco

During the second practice session at the Monaco Grand Prix, Lando Norris’ McLaren MCL40 experienced an electrical problem that caused him to stop on track. The incident occurred early in the session at the Nouvelle Chicane, leaving Oscar Piastri as the only McLaren driver for much of the practice. McLaren's Chief Technical Officer, Rob Marshall, confirmed the electrical issue but stated they have yet to determine the exact cause. Piastri finished the session in seventh place, approximately one second off the pace set by faster competitors.
