McTominay seeks Napoli contract renewal amid Real Madrid interest

Scott McTominay is negotiating a new contract with Napoli after requesting his representatives to reopen talks. Current discussions have not reached a satisfactory agreement, with McTominay’s camp seeking over €8 million annually, up from his current €3 million salary. Napoli reportedly offered closer to €5 million this summer and does not prioritize the renewal with almost two years left on his contract. Meanwhile, Real Madrid has expressed interest in the midfielder, which could complicate negotiations. McTominay, recently cleared to return to training after heart surgery, could make his comeback against Frosinone this weekend.
