Meadville sweeps Shaler to advance in PIAA Class 2A tournament

Meadville's boys volleyball team defeated Shaler Area 27-25, 25-13, 25-18 in the PIAA Class 2A quarterfinal on June 6 at Shenango High School. This match marks the second consecutive year Meadville has eliminated Shaler in the tournament. With the victory, Meadville improves to a perfect 19-0 record and moves on to face the winner of the District 3 Brandywine Heights versus District 7 South Fayette matchup in the semifinals scheduled for June 9.
