Suburban Ice Arena in Farmington Hills has renamed its rink to honor Megan Keller. The unveiling took place on Thursday with the presence of a large mural depicting Keller scoring her Olympic golden goal against Canada in 2026. Keller, who played on boys’ teams in her youth, has hosted an all-girls hockey camp at this rink. Earlier this year, she and the NHL Foundation contributed $50,000 to support girls' hockey families in Michigan. The next major women's hockey tournament is scheduled for November in Denmark.
