Mekhi Williams has committed to the Wisconsin Badgers after decommitting from Florida State University. The safety, previously FSU's highest-ranked commit, had been with FSU since March 2025 but decided to explore other options after visiting Wisconsin. During a live announcement on CBS Sports' YouTube channel, Williams confirmed his decision to join the Badgers, who hosted him for an official visit recently. He was also considering Nebraska and LSU before making his choice. Williams is ranked as the No. 197 overall player and No. 17 safety by 247Sports.
