Melanie Green throws first pitch at Rays game to promote Annika event

Melanie Green, a rookie on the LPGA Tour, threw the first pitch at Tropicana Field on September 17 to promote The Annika event. The tournament will take place November 12-15 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. Green, currently ranked No. 85 in the CME Race to the Globe, aims to qualify for the CME Group Tour Championship in late November. She has faced recent challenges after a strong start to the season and will compete in multiple events over the coming weeks. Nelly Korda, Lydia Ko, Linn Grant, and Brooke Henderson are among the players committed to the Annika event.
