Melbourne defender Jordyn Allen receives round four AFLW Rising Star nomination

Melbourne defender Jordyn Allen has been named the Telstra AFLW Rising Star nominee for round four of the 2026 season. The 18-year-old earned the selection after a consistent start to the year, having played in every game for the Demons. Allen, who was selected with pick No. 16 in the 2025 NAB AFLW Draft from the Eastern Ranges, has averaged 20.5 disposals and 3.3 tackles per game. Her performance in a half-back role has contributed to Melbourne's unbeaten start to the current campaign. She joins Sierra Grieves, Alannah Welsh, and Lauren Young as the league's Rising Star nominees for the first four rounds of 2026.
