Memphis University is adding Randy Shannon as a senior defensive analyst under head coach Charles Huff. This move comes just days before Memphis's season opener against UNLV, scheduled for Saturday. Shannon, a former head coach at Miami, was most recently on the Florida State staff and has extensive coaching experience, including defensive roles and a previous Broyles Award. Huff is entering his second season with Memphis following a successful tenure at Marshall that included a conference championship.
