(Photo by Etsuo Hara/Getty Images) | Getty Images Ric Flair took to social media on Sunday (August 23) to put over his daughter, Charlotte Flair, calling the WWE star “The Greatest Female Wrestler Of All Time.” While The Nature Boy often sings the praises of Charlotte, even going as far as to say she’s a better wrestler than he ever was, Mercedes Moné took exception with his post on Instagram. “Do you want to get your ass kicked Ric? Wooooooooo” Mercedes wrote in the comments of Flair’s post. View this post on Instagram Perhaps The CEO’s attention was drawn to Flair’s post due to the fact that he included an image of her. Also featured in Ric’s montage was AJ Lee, Trish Stratus, and Stephanie McMahon. Of course, Charlotte was featured most prominently in the pics. The photo of Moné used by Flair was taken during her time in WWE, when she was known as Sasha Banks, and he identified her as such. Moné came up through NXT with Charlotte, and the two women were once close as members of the Four Horsewomen, along with Bayley and Becky Lynch. After moving up to WWE’s main roster, Moné held the company’s top women’s titles on multiple occasions before departing in 2022 and eventually winning gold in promotions all over the world, including in AEW. Charlotte, meanwhile, is the most decorated female wrestler in WWE history, at least in terms of title reigns. She’s held the world title a record 14 times, and she’s on pace to eventually eclipse her father’s 16 world titles. (It should be noted that Ric now says WWE undercounts his title reigns, and he contends that he’s actually held a world title on 22 occasions.) Ric’s Sunday post read: “Charlotte Flair Is Obviously The Greatest Heel, But Actually The Greatest Female Wrestler Of All Time In The History Of Women’s Wrestling! And God Knows I’ve Seen Them All! WOOOOO!” Charlotte herself also responded to the message on Instagram, though her reaction read like an embarrassed daughter. She simply wrote: “Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.” What do you think, Cagesiders? Is Ric Flair right that his daughter is the best female wrestler of all time? Would you like to see Mercedes Moné fight him over the claim? Let us know in the comments.
