Mercedes Moné celebrated her AEW Women’s World championship victory by playing her former WWE entrance theme during an afterparty. Following her match against Willow Nightingale at All In in London’s Wembley Stadium on August 30, Moné appeared at the Crystal Club’s Sweet Chin Disco event. Despite sustaining a broken nose during the competition, she performed a guest-DJ set to commemorate her win. She concluded the session by playing "Sky’s The Limit," the CFO$ song used during her time as Sasha Banks in WWE. While Moné currently performs under an AEW banner, the usage of the track served as a nod to her previous persona. The event occurred one day after the AEW All In card concluded.

"Back before I made the career-limiting but much-needed-for-mental-emotional-and-spiritual-health decision to stop posting on social media, I posted this whenever I was live-tweeting a WWE show and Sasha Banks appeared: Had I dream I hadn't made it There's nothing dragging Down me now Cause a girl gonna push it all out the way — Sean (@s1rude) August 13, 2019 It continued because some followers seemed to really like, but it started because I was a big Sasha Banks fan. I still am a Mercedes Moné fan, and will talk more about why at another time. For now, I’d just point to the absolutely fantastic match she had with Willow Nightingale yesterday (Aug. 30) at All In in London’s Wembley Stadium. Back to those lyrics. While my appreciation for Moné as a pro wrestler has only grown as she’s continued her career outside of WWE, and her AEW entrance theme has grown on me as well… “Sky’s The Limit” is still the best song The Boss or CEO has walked a ramp to. I think Mercedes knows it, too. That’s because when Moné guest-DJ-ed a set at Crystal Club’s Sweet Chin Disco afterparty with her broken nose and freshly won AEW Women’s World championship last night, she closed it out with CFO$‘s ode to her younger kayfabe self: *VERY RARE FOOTAGE* Mercedes Mone ended her DJ session jamming out to Sky’s the Limit – Sasha Banks theme 😮 pic.twitter.com/O7PoSKzNbH — 𝕵𝖎𝖒𝖒𝕪 (@Logicull) August 31, 2026 I popped. Unsurprisingly, I suppose. Now if you’ll excuse me… Destined to break in I found my way Yeah Now ain’t nobody gonna take it Cause a girl gonna push ’em all out the way
