Mercury coach Nate Tibbetts out with illness against Seattle Storm

Phoenix Mercury head coach Nate Tibbetts will not coach against the Seattle Storm on July 2 due to illness. Associate head coach Kristi Toliver has stepped in to lead the team at Mortgage Matchup Center. Tibbetts reported feeling unwell during shootaround and opted to stay home. The Mercury will also be missing starting forward Noemie Brochant, sidelined with an ankle injury, and starting center Natasha Mack, who has a foot injury. Alyssa Thomas returns to the lineup after a suspension.
