Lionel Messi's family announced plans for a 15,000-seat stadium near Rosario, Argentina, to serve as the new home for Leones Fútbol Club. The project, named "Estación Leones," will also include housing and commercial space on a 128-acre site in Alvear, Santa Fe province. Leones currently competes in Primera C but lacks its own venue, necessitating the development. The stadium aims to host soccer matches, concerts, and other cultural events. Daniel Quinteros, the club's sporting director, emphasized the project's quality, indicating completion within a couple of years.
