Met Police respond to six stabbings after Arsenal Champions Parade

The Metropolitan Police are investigating six stabbings that occurred during the Arsenal Champions Parade in London on Sunday. A total of 24 arrests were made, including 10 for assaulting police, following the deployment of over 500 officers at the event. Most of the victims had non-life-threatening injuries, though one man in his twenties was hospitalized in critical condition and is now stable. As the crowd began to disperse in the evening, violence, including gang-related incidents, was reported. A Section 60 order has been granted to prevent further crimes and provide police with additional search powers. Investigations are ongoing.
