Mets bring up Kevin Herget as they face Marlins in series

The New York Mets are in action against the Miami Marlins on Saturday at Citi Field, continuing a series after a 5-2 loss on Friday. In a roster move, the Mets announced the addition of pitcher Kevin Herget, who comes in to replace Xzavion Curry following his five-inning relief appearance. Herget, who has not played in an MLB game this season, has spent four seasons in the league and previously played for the Tampa Bay Rays, Cincinnati Reds, and Atlanta Braves.
