The New York Mets are projected to target Joe Ryan of the Minnesota Twins as they prepare for the upcoming offseason. Currently holding a 49-66 record, the Mets are likely to miss the playoffs for a second consecutive year, prompting the team to focus on roster improvement. With Joe Ryan entering the final year of his contract, the Twins may consider trading him to avoid losing him without compensation. Analysts suggest that Ryan could fill a significant gap in the Mets’ rotation, especially after the team traded Freddy Peralta mid-season. The offseason will be crucial for New York as it seeks to return to competitive form.

- •Joe Ryan has a 3.65 ERA over 23 starts for the Twins this season.
