Mets owner Steve Cohen starts New York team in WTGL this fall

Steve Cohen, owner of the New York Mets, will launch a team in the Women's Team Golf League (WTGL) set to debut this fall. The league is in partnership with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), and Cohen aims to connect more fans with women's golf. The New York team will join an initial roster that features 14 committed players, including top-ranked golfers such as Lydia Ko and Lexi Thompson. Cohen previously managed a team in the Men’s TGL, which had mixed results in its initial seasons. Additional players are expected to be added before the inaugural season begins.
