The Mets are promoting reliever Guillermo Zuñiga from Triple-A Syracuse ahead of their game against the Atlanta Braves on July 6. Zuñiga, 27, has a 3.29 ERA over 14 appearances this season in the minors, including a 1.93 ERA in Double-A with Binghamton but a higher 6.23 ERA at Triple-A Syracuse. He last appeared in MLB in 2024 with the Los Angeles Angels. His career MLB stats include a 5.03 ERA and two saves over 19.2 innings pitched.
