The New York Mets reinstated 29-year-old right-handed pitcher Justin Hagenman from the 60-day injured list on September 2. To clear a spot on the active roster, the team optioned 26-year-old reliever Dylan Ross to Triple-A Syracuse. Hagenman had been on the injured list since mid-March following a rib fracture. He completed a minor league rehabilitation assignment across Single-A, Double-A, and Triple-A levels, posting a 2.89 ERA over 9.1 innings. Ross made his major league debut during the Mets' loss on September 1, pitching one scoreless inning of relief. Hagenman is scheduled to start for the Mets in the final game of their three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays.
