Mets to limit Mark Vientos' playing time amid struggles

Summary

Mark Vientos' struggles continue as he hits just.179 over his last 10 games for the New York Mets. With one home run and three RBI during this span, his performance has raised concerns about his role on the team. Additionally, the return of Jorge Polanco is expected to diminish Vientos' at-bats, as Polanco is slated to take over as the full-time DH. Jared Young's recent strong performance also complicates Vientos' chances for playing time. The Mets face a decision regarding Vientos' future, possibly including a trade or release, in the coming weeks.
