Mets willing to consider trades for Francisco Lindor ahead of deadline

Summary

The New York Mets are open to trading Francisco Lindor, signaling a shift to sell mode ahead of the upcoming MLB trade deadline. Despite Lindor's struggles with a.210 batting average and injuries, sources indicate he is not an untouchable player. While the Mets plan to listen to offers for various players, a trade involving Lindor is considered unlikely. The team has already made transactions and is expected to be active in the market, aiming to initiate trades well before the deadline to capitalize on potential buyer desperation.
