MIAA releases preseason men’s and women’s golf coaches polls for 2026

The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association released its 2026-2027 preseason golf coaches polls on September 3, ahead of the NCAA Division II season start on September 8. Central Oklahoma received five first-place votes to lead the men’s preseason poll, followed by Washburn and Central Missouri. In the women’s division, Rogers State sits at the top of the preseason coaches poll, edging out Washburn and Nebraska Kearney in the voting rankings. Teams across the MIAA are preparing for the opening of the collegiate golf season schedule. Programs including Pittsburg State, Missouri Southern, and Missouri Western are featured across both divisions in the newly announced conference standings. The polls provide the initial outlook for the conference as athletes transition into official competition later this month.
