Miami Central's James Perrone scores late touchdown to edge Orange Lutheran

In a close matchup, Miami Central's quarterback James Perrone scored a game-winning 40-yard touchdown with 28 seconds remaining, leading to a 23-22 victory over Orange Lutheran. Miami Central had trailed for much of the game but Perrone's decisive run snatched victory from the brink in the final moments. Orange Lutheran had been strong defensively throughout most of the contest, maintaining the lead until the final minute. Both teams are set to continue their seasons with Central facing St. Brendan and Orange Lutheran matched against Cathedral Catholic.
