Miami Dolphins add eight players to practice squad following Tuesday roster adjustments

The Miami Dolphins expanded their practice squad on Tuesday by signing eight additional players. The group includes linebacker Liam Anderson, defensive ends Clelin Ferrell and Amari Gainer, defensive tackles Jordan Miller and Mazi Smith, wide receiver Will Sheppard, cornerback Jaylin Simpson, and tight end Tre Watson. To accommodate the new additions, the team released quarterback Mark Gronowski from the practice squad. These moves follow a series of roster changes enacted by the Dolphins on Monday, which included the signing of seven waiver claims and the brief release of Ferrell. The additions bring in players with varying levels of experience, ranging from undrafted free agents to former first-round draft picks like Smith and Ferrell. The team continues to refine its developmental roster as the season progresses.
