Miami Dolphins rookie wide receivers chase NFL history against Las Vegas Raiders

The Miami Dolphins rookie wide receiver trio of Caleb Douglas, Chris Bell, and Kevin Coleman Jr. has the potential to set an NFL record on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders. No team in league history has ever had three drafted wide receivers record at least one catch during Week 1 of their debut season. While other franchises have drafted three wideouts in a single class, previous attempts to reach this mark have fallen short. The Dolphins selected the three players during the 2026 NFL Draft. Bell will play despite recovering from a 2025 ACL injury, and head coach Jeff Hafley indicated there will be no pitch count for the receiver. The team hopes these players will serve as core contributors during a rebuilding season, starting with the contest in Las Vegas.
