Miami Heat consider Klay Thompson as Mavericks explore trade options

Summary

The Miami Heat have expressed interest in acquiring Klay Thompson from the Dallas Mavericks as they reshape their roster. While Dallas is open to trading Thompson, they remain inclined to negotiate a trade rather than a buyout, which would allow his departure without a deal. Thompson is entering the final year of his contract, earning approximately $17.4 million this season. If Miami pursues him successfully, Thompson's shooting ability could enhance their offensive dynamics. His future remains linked to the Mavericks' decisions regarding his contract.
