Miami Hurricanes defeat Florida A&M Rattlers 77-7 at Hard Rock Stadium

The Miami Hurricanes improved to 2-0 with a 77-7 victory over the Florida A&M Rattlers on Thursday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Miami quarterback Darian Mensah threw for three touchdowns, while backups Luke Nickel also recorded three passing scores. Running back Javion Mallory led the team with 142 rushing yards on 10 carries, scoring twice. The Hurricanes offense dominated throughout the contest, recording 11 successful extra-point kicks and allowing only one tackle for loss. Florida A&M avoided a shutout in the second half after returning a fumble for a touchdown. Miami finished the game with one penalty for five yards, while the defense held the Rattlers to 1-of-14 on third-down conversions.
