Miami Hurricanes offensive line shows new starters in win over Stanford

The Miami Hurricanes opened the 2026 season with a 45-6 victory against the Stanford Cardinal. The coaching staff utilized the contest to evaluate an offensive line featuring four new starters and five players in different positions compared to the previous year. Samson Okunlola served as the primary left tackle, while Jackson Cantwell appeared at right guard as a reserve. Ryan Rodriguez returned to the lineup at center, and McCoy transitioned from left guard to right tackle. Twelve different linemen received playing time throughout the game as part of a collective effort to assess depth and performance. The evaluation also included tight end Elija Lofton in his role within the offensive scheme.
