Micah Ojo, ranked sixth in the SC Next 100 for the Class of 2027, has committed to the UNC women's basketball program. Announced on October 8, Ojo chose North Carolina over Vanderbilt and Duke. She is the reigning Gatorade Virginia Girls Basketball Player of the Year and is expected to contribute significantly to a young Tar Heels team this season, which will also feature top recruit Kate Harpring.
