Michael Harden Jr. commits to play football at Boston College

Michael Harden Jr., the stepson of Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla, has announced his commitment to play Division 1 college football at Boston College. The junior linebacker, who weighs 215 pounds and stands 6-2, contributed significantly to Xaverian's success, recording five sacks and 54 tackles last season as the team secured its third consecutive state title. Entering his senior year, Harden Jr. joins a Boston College program that is looking to improve after finishing 2-10 last season, including a 1-7 record in the ACC. Harden Jr. adds to the 56th-ranked 2027 recruiting class according to On3 and Rivals.
