Michael La Sasso qualifies for DP World Tour Q-School in Germany

Michael La Sasso secured a spot at the DP World Tour first-stage Qualifying School on Friday. Competing at Golf-und Country Club Seddiner See in Michendorf, Germany, the 22-year-old carded a 5-under 67 to finish T-18. The performance followed a bogey on the 11th hole that briefly jeopardized his standing; he recovered by birdieing four of his final six holes to qualify on the number. La Sasso is fresh off a LIV season finale victory in Indianapolis. He is one of five LIV players who advanced through the first stage of the qualifying event, joining Josele Ballester, Luis Masaveu, and Yosuke Asaji. Additional first-stage events are scheduled to follow in England and Sweden.
