Michael Morales to weigh in as backup for UFC 330 title fight

Michael Morales confirmed he will weigh in as a backup for the UFC 330 title fight between Islam Makhachev and Ian Machado Garry scheduled for August 15 at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. Morales, currently ranked No. 2 in the welterweight division, stated he will make weight in case either fighter is unable to compete. Previously considered as an opponent for Makhachev, Morales expressed willingness to fight another contender if not called upon.
