Michael Penix Jr. returns to lead Falcons over Packers in Green Bay

In his first game since an ACL injury, Michael Penix Jr. threw for 256 yards and one touchdown to lead the Atlanta Falcons past the Green Bay Packers 35-14 on September 25 at Lambeau Field. Despite a rocky start that included an early interception, Penix completed 17 of his next 20 passes, with key contributions from running back Bijan Robinson, who rushed for 194 yards and two scores, and wide receiver Drake London, who caught nine passes for 194 yards. The Falcons dominated total yards at 498 to 328 and held a significant ground game advantage. Following the win, the Falcons improve to 1-2, while the Packers also sit at 1-2. Atlanta will face the New Orleans Saints in Week 4.
