Michael Redd criticizes Druski's CTE skit for trivializing athlete struggles

Michael Redd has called out comedian Druski for a viral skit that depicts player concussions in a humorous light, stating it trivializes the serious issue of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). Druski's video features a fictional character, Ray Price, who suffers a concussion and behaves erratically, showcasing the humorous stereotype of an athlete losing control post-injury. Redd emphasized the real dangers of CTE, which affects many former athletes, and argued that turning such a serious issue into a punchline is disrespectful. He expressed concerns that trivializing CTE reflects poorly on the respect owed to athletes facing this life-altering condition.
