Michael Skubala outlines fitness status for Elijah Adebayo before Preston match
Summary

Bristol City manager Michael Skubala provided a fitness update on Elijah Adebayo ahead of the upcoming match against Preston. While the summer signing participated in pre-season matches, Skubala noted that the lower intensity of those games was not sufficient to reach full match readiness. Adebayo continues to work through a rehab program as he recovers from a long-term injury. Skubala indicated that the forward is not yet cleared for full-contact first-team training. The coaching staff is currently utilizing a hybrid training model to rebuild the player's physical strength. Integration into the main squad remains the primary objective as the team prepares for the Preston fixture.
