Michigan actively recruits top running back and quarterback prospects

Summary

The Michigan Wolverines continue to pursue top recruits for their football program, particularly focusing on four-star running back Kevin Hartsfield and four-star quarterback Tristin Gaines. Hartsfield, ranked as the No. 1 running back in the 2028 class, maintains a strong relationship with Michigan's position coach Tony Alford. He has expressed interest in visiting Ann Arbor for a game. Gaines, the No. 14 quarterback in the 2028 class from Texas, is currently leaning towards Oregon but will visit Michigan, hoping to witness the program’s progress this season. The Wolverines are also targeting other notable recruits, including four-star wide receiver Ryan Richmond-McDavis, who is eager about Michigan's interest in him.
