Michigan adds Central Michigan to future football schedules

Michigan football has scheduled Central Michigan as an opponent for the 2028 and 2031 season openers. With these additions, Michigan now has set season openers through 2034, excluding the years 2030 and 2032. In 2027, Michigan will host Illinois, marking its first home meeting since 2022. Future rivalries include matchups against Notre Dame in 2033 and 2034 after a gap since 2019.
