Michigan State University and the University of Michigan are competing for defenseman Landon DuPont, a top prospect for the 2027 NHL Draft. According to Cam Robinson of Elite Prospects, DuPont is down to these two schools after eliminating contenders Denver and Minnesota. He is scheduled to visit both Michigan campuses next week, with an expected decision to follow. DuPont had a strong season with the Everett Silvertips in the WHL, recording 73 points in 63 games and 23 points in 18 playoff games.
