Michigan football adds Utah transfer JJ Buchanan to improve passing game

Michigan football has signed Utah transfer JJ Buchanan, a wide receiver, as it seeks to enhance its passing offense. Buchanan, a 6-foot-4, 208-pound player, excelled last season with 26 catches for 427 yards and five touchdowns. His addition comes as the Wolverines hope to address their struggles at wide receiver over the past two years. Buchanan will start alongside former standout Andrew Marsh, who had 651 receiving yards in his freshman campaign. The Wolverines also recruited Jaime Ffrench from Texas and highly touted freshman Salesi Moa to bolster their receiving corps as they adjust their offensive strategy under new personnel.
