Michigan football misses three key players for Oklahoma game

Michigan faces Oklahoma on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Michigan Stadium without several contributors on the roster. Five-star edge Carter Meadows and tight end Hogan Hansen are unavailable for the second consecutive week. Offensive tackle Andrew Babalola, who missed the 2025 season with a torn ACL, was expected to be available but did not dress for the matchup. Babalola reportedly experienced a minor injury during fall camp. Meadows, a top recruit who joined the program this summer, has been absent from the field despite practicing earlier in the week. Hansen, who dealt with injuries during the previous season, remains out for undisclosed reasons. The team continues to navigate these absences as it hosts Oklahoma for the Week 2 contest.
