Michigan State hires Dan Bartholomae as new athletic director

Dan Bartholomae has been appointed as the new athletic director for Michigan State, with his hiring announced earlier this week. He signed a five-year contract worth $1.71 million annually. Before joining Michigan State, Bartholomae served as athletic director at Western Michigan, where he oversaw a national championship in hockey and significant fundraising efforts. He replaces J Batt, who departed for Kentucky's athletic director role. Bartholomae was introduced during a press conference on Wednesday.
