Michigan State misses out on official visit from Asa Montgomery

Asa Montgomery, a four-star wing ranked No. 4 in Georgia, will not visit Michigan State this fall. He announced eight scheduled visits to schools including LSU, North Carolina, and Duke, while Michigan State, who recently offered him, did not make the cut. The Spartans have other recruiting plans, scheduling visits with four-star point guard Antonio Pemberton and 2028 prospect Cole Kelly. Head coach Tom Izzo has yet to secure a visit with a wing player, leaving open the possibility of pursuing Montgomery further.
