Michigan State offers 2027 4-star center Akol Nyok from Miami

Michigan State basketball has extended an offer to Akol Nyok, a 7-foot-1 center from Miami, Florida, in the 2027 recruiting class. Nyok is noted for his speed and rim protection, ranking as the No. 132 player overall and 16th among centers according to the 247Sports composite rankings. This offer continues head coach Tom Izzo's trend of focusing on size in recent recruiting classes. Other schools in contention for Nyok's commitment include Marquette, Virginia Tech, and Maryland, as well as several notable programs. Michigan State is also pursuing another center, Kamsi Awaka, for the same class.
