Middlesbrough progresses on signing Will Lankshear from Tottenham Hotspur
Summary

Middlesbrough is advancing in its pursuit of Will Lankshear from Tottenham Hotspur, with a transfer fee exceeding £10 million expected. The 21-year-old striker, following a productive loan spell at Oxford United, desires regular first-team football and has shown interest in joining Boro. Tottenham remains confident in Lankshear's future potential and seeks a substantial sell-on clause and a buy-back option in any transfer agreement. Middlesbrough aims to finalize this deal to enhance its squad for the upcoming Championship season after a disappointing playoff final last season.
