Miguel Gutiérrez provides two assists for Bayer Leverkusen against Union Berlin

Bayer Leverkusen signed Miguel Gutiérrez this summer to replace outgoing left-back Alejandro Grimaldo, who departed for Atlético. The 24-year-old Gutiérrez joined the Bundesliga club from Napoli in a deal worth €30 million. In the home match against Union Berlin, he recorded two assists to help secure the result. Ignacio Fernandes scored in the first minute of play, followed by a goal from Facundo Medina in the 28th minute. Alejandro Grimaldo, his predecessor, recorded 31 assists during his three seasons at the club. Bayer Leverkusen management opted for a like-for-like replacement in the position following the high-profile transfer of the former top star.
