Mika Zibanejad finishes 12th in Lady Byng Trophy voting

Mika Zibanejad of the New York Rangers placed 12th in the Lady Byng Trophy voting for the 2025-26 season, receiving 96 points. He garnered one first-place vote among others, while Montreal's Cole Caufield took home the award after a standout season with a career-high 51 goals and 88 points. Zibanejad had a bounce-back year, scoring 34 goals and accruing 78 points, and matched Caufield with just 14 penalty minutes in 81 games. Despite not winning the trophy, he collected several team awards this season, including Team MVP and the Steven McDonald Extra Effort Award. Zibanejad also became the Rangers' all-time leader in power-play goals this season.
