Mike Elko evaluates options for Texas A&M punt returner role

Texas A&M coach Mike Elko is considering multiple candidates to replace KC Concepcion as the team's punt returner for the upcoming 2026 season. Concepcion, who was selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, returned 25 punts last season. Elko mentioned that junior wide receiver Mario Craver, among others, is a leading candidate for the role. Other players under consideration include Alabama transfer Isaiah Horton and junior wide receiver Terry Bussey. The team begins fall camp soon, and the competition for the position will be critical as they prepare for the season opener against Missouri State.
